OBA ADESEGUN ALAO is the newly installed Oba of Owoland in the Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun state. He was installed as Oba on the 19th day of April, 2019, after the demised of Oba Patrick Fasinu.

The Olowo Owoland Oba Adesegun Alao stated that it is true that few people are throwing shades and not welcoming my selection as the next Olowo of Owoland anyway is bound to be happening as a growing society who is day by day discovery and gathering men of intellectuals one could not be surprised of such motion. He went further to state that the good people of owo land should desist from any form of violence or bad behaviour towards the crown, because he was choosing not by the Governor of Ogun state Senator Ibikunle Amosun but he was selected in accordance with tradition and the laid down selection process by the kingmakers of owo land. Also drawing attention of those who felt fowl played in the processing that, they should always remember that once an Oba met with his ancestors another should emerged to fill the vacuum. He is only appealing to them that Owoland is bigger than individual therefore IT should be of the interest of Owoland rather taking our complacent interest as priority. In united we stand divided we fall. God forbid we fail our generation and be blamed by our ancestors.
