The Nigerian police at some point paid ransom when some policemen was kidnapped.

That answers the question about ransom being paid or not.

It's so easy for rich people to regain freedom from kidnappers in Nigeria grin

Buhari’s father in law regained his freedom less than 24 hours grin

UBE chairman who was kidnapped in Kaduna with his daughter regained their freedom in less than 24 hours grin

OAU professor regained freedom less than 24 hours grin

You'll never hear of the millions they paid behind the scenes

Kudos to Nigeria police. They're working so hard, even the IG has lost weight and now look like stock fish grin

sad sad

Of course ransom was paid.

The lifeless one is just allowing his
brothers to get rich at the expense of the
innocent citizens of Nigeria.

That is why, even when caught, thesr
kidnappers are just reprimanded and released
to go and continue.

This is a govt overseeing a failing nation.

Economy... bad.
Security..... Bad.
Employment... bad.
Hospitals... Bad
Schools... Bad.
Worker's salary.. Bad.
Security agents.. Bad
Life expectancy.. falling.

Police want to know if they paid ransom, will police refund the ransom paid?the best thing to do in this kind of situation is to first meet the demand of the kidnappers as far as it did not involve doing away with another persons life, safe ur loved one and then every other thing becomes history, once there is life the family will be more happy than listening to this and that, loosing ur loved one, receiving compensation, and live with regrets for the rest of ur life, Prof welcome home. Lets always do good to others.
