Best african playwright.
Prof wole is best african dramatist.

Unfortunately, after their set including jp Clark, ben okri, Amos tutuola, Cyprian ekwensu, and so many other, our generation have no brilliant writers to produce. Majorly because of our now useless educational system and eroding reading culture.

Those were the days when people read books, with diligence and hard work. and not this fast food kind of century where people want to get rich without doing nothing. I remembered my elder brother wistling while solving his further mathematics, and even looking for more problems to solve, and even students burning the midnight candle just to become top of the class. Now we only have very few people who take their academic work seriously, is either some are slaying or about to be slayed, or somewhere dancing some unusual music were you'll have to spin your head in the name of dancing, they'd rather spend their time talking about useless things, Tonto dike wahala or uploading pictures everywhere. education is gradually fading away. Even the ones who went to good schools were they pay huge amount of money for tuition, still have nothing to offer. After Chimamanda Adechie, and some few who are making us proud, who can we look to as the next icons of greatness in this field ?

Before he came back and had the accident that paralyzed him and condemned him to wheel chair for life in 1991. Nigeria's environment is so unfriendly in everything and could truncate ones' dream and aspiration in a twinkle of an eye.

I've Read Arrows of God more than ten times and I'm still craving to read it again.

The amount of African proverb in that book makes Things fall apart look western

Look at the names that guy you mentioned listed and ask yourself if she deserves to be in same league with those writers.

She's a boring storyteller, her works don't command emotions like the writers the guy mentioned.

She could appropriately fit into that league, if you have read her works and gone through her profile, you would agree without doubt that she can be counted among the best Nigeria has ever produced.
