As it is said that he who touches life waters hopes, the Austine Urunwa Computers, a multipurpose computer institute based in Ebenator, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State has undertaken another great feat, as it sets to hold sensitization programs and competitions for youth and pupils of the community.

This was contained in a statement recently issued by MD/CEO of the Institute, Mr. Austine Chidiebere Ojiego.
According to him, the event which is the first of its kind was conceived out of his longstanding earnest desire to offer selfless services to the humanity, and is primarily aimed at recalibrating the minds of the youths and shaping the future of the young ones, through proper sensitization, and through discovering, harnessing, rewarding and encouraging their competencies and potentials, thereby shaping the future of the society at large.

He revealed that the event will feature health talk on the 'Dangers And The Effects of Drug Abuse' for the youths and the secondary school students in the community, as well as academic and sports competitions for the entire primary schools in the community.

According to his fixtures, the first stage of the competitions will kickoff on the 20th of May; the Health Talk which will be anchored by a medical team from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, will hold on the 23rd at the Community Secondary School, Ebenator; while the grand finale of the competitions will hold on 25th May, 2019.

Mr. Ojiego further noted that registration and participation in the event were totally free, and that the prizes to be won include: first, second and third positions, as well as other consolation prizes.

In the list guests expected to grace the occasion are: H.R.H Igwe Edwin Chinaewubeze Ezejiburu, the traditional ruler of Ebenator Ozulogu Ancient Kingdom (Royal Father of the day); Chief Anthony Okechukwu (the President General of Ebenator Development Union); Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Senator-elect, Anambra South Senatorial Zone); Hon. Dr. Harry Oranezi (former member, House of Reps); Hon. Chris Azubogu (Member Representing N-N/N-S/E Fed. Constituency); Hon. Chieloka Okoye (the Chairman, Nnewi South Local Government); Hon. Johnbosco Akaegbobi (House of Assembly member-elect, Nnewi South Constituency 2); Chief Ugochukwu Abbah; Chief Cyril Obianumba, among others.
