An electrric powered mini scaled car


This is a project carried out by Bukar Musa Isa, a 17 year old automotive engineering university undergraduate and he just completed this project this month.

The sedan car is basically powered by electric motor, and an onboard computer.

It boast an arduino Chip, brushless electric motors, a separate motor to power the steering, rubber wheels, a subframe cardboard body, a Bluetooth module, steering servo and a bread board.


The car is controlled with his smartphone, via an app that utilises the bluetooth connection on the phone and the bluetooth chip in the car to exchange signals.

According to bukar, this project took him 3 years straight to figure it out, he still has some minor improvements to make.
The project was just done personally by him as a hobby and all the funding was personal, he did this when he was in senior secondary school.

According to bukar, he has bigger plans for his future in automotive engineering, he is pursuing greater heights and this is what he has just started with.
