- They finished with 97 points.
- No team has ever had such points and not won the EPL
- No team in other leagues have had that much points and not won the title in their country
- All the 13 EPL titles that Man United have won, they never had 97 points
- Arsenal won the league with 90 points in their invincible run of 2003/04
- Leicester won the league in 2015/16 with just 81 points
- Blackburn won the league in 1994/95 with 89 points
- This is the 3rd time that Liverpool would be atop the EPL by Christmas and not win the League that season. Same happened in 2008/09 and 2013/14.
- Liverpool lost just one match the entire season.
- Liverpool played very attacking football all season long
- Most of all, Liverpool have the most likeable coach in the league.

Truth is I feel bad for the team. This should have been Liverpool's year in the EPL
