The Event: 2019 Congress Luncheon With Pastor E.A Adeboye (daddy G.O) In Abuja by DoxaDigital(m): 10:33am On May 20, 2019
Fascinatingly, this is an unbroken record; the largest single gathering of believers in the whole world is the annual Holy Ghost Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).  It is an event that comes up in August each year.  Over 3.5 million people from around the world gather in a single location to witness a week of activity packed event including the harvest of souls. It also marks the beginning of the new calendar year for the church.

Why the Luncheon with Daddy G.O

Many have come to criticize the rationale behind raising funds for this event hosted by the G.O of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). While responding, the G.O expressed his concern and opined the fact that nothing can be more important than the work of God. It may interest you to know that during this event millions of people are fed with two meals a day amid some others such as close to free medical services especially at the maternity centre were several babies are born etc. More so, water, power and other amenities are self-generated. All these and more cost so much money, so it will take the grace of God and the donation from well-meaning members to ensure a smooth running of the event.

The DOXA DIGITAL’s Role

As the top events manager in Abuja and beyond, we were assigned to provide all services that will ensure that the luncheon event was successful technically and otherwise. We deployed all our technical expertise and equipment towards the event and to the location respectively. The event took place at the National Ecumenical centre a magnificent edifice with gothic arches and splendour with a sitting capacity of about 3000 persons and an installed pipe organ.

After we analyzed the facility, we discovered that due to the very high headroom, the large surface area,  with very smooth and hard surfaces due to the materials that were used for the building, It was certain that we were going to experience a lot of echo back, if we were not careful. In view of this, we decided to use our precision sound gears strategically placed in specified angles and a specified height above the ground level. This went a long way to eliminate the echoes to the barest minimum and ensured an even and consistent sound all around the facility.

Superbly, we deployed our universal trussing system with which we displayed our lighting arrays, creating an ambience befitting for worship. Our LED mega screens were inclined at a strategic position to ensure that participants are engaged with the actions happening at the centre of the stage.

Technically and otherwise, we surpassed all expectations making the event most successful.
