Mtn conversion from a Private Company to a Public Company (PLC) meant that its shares could be listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange Market. The implication of this is that Mtn shares is now public. However, the company acting in accordance with the provision of our Law, that is Listing its shares by Introduction, instead of the typical IPO, makes the company's shares not tradable publicly despite the fact that it was listed publicly.
