A police officer, Mr Joseph Onoja as of today made a statement as witness to a Federal High Court in Abuja that the charges levelled against Pastor Matthew Emmanuel of The Choice Bible Church has been confirmed as true.

According to reports, the Police said that he invited the mother of the two girls, Mrs Mary Paul who told him that the daughters informed her that the pastor took them inside his room for prayer and started touching their private parts.

He said : "The girls described the room and when i visited the room, it was exactly as they had described it. The girls were also taken to the hospital for examination, and the doctor confirmed that the girls were defiled"

However, the Pastor who is also the General Overseer of The Choice Bible Church, Mpape still pleaded not guilty to the charges, insisting that the mother went to his house and accused him of sleeping with her daughter's.

The Police are charging the Pastor on inducement and rape.
