With the growth of population of the world, there is an increase in the poor people in the society.

There are only small percentage of the rich ones, and a large percentage of the poor ones.

It is not that the poor ones are destined or on a spell to be poor. They just have some bad money habits which makes them never to be rich.

Here are the list of habits that makes them poor and never get rich:

1. Poor Reading Skill: Some people are proven not to be friendly with books. They find books as their worst enemy. They hardly read books for self-improvement.

This is very common in Africa. That is why a quote says, ‘if you want to hide something from an African man, hide it inside a book'.

2. Having The Negative Mindset: In my own definition, mindset is an act of thinking in a positive or negative manner for either a better or worst result.

People are known not to think in a right way. They never ask themselves questions that can improve their life positively.

With the wrong or negative mindset, you can never make it in life. You will remain broke even if you make millions.

3. Not Having Any Value Or Skill: In order to make money, you need a skill or value in which you can exchange for money.

Money is trade by barter. You give a client your value in exchange for money.

Learn and develop a skill. Not just a skill, a high income skill. Then you can exchange the value for money to people who need it and can pay for the value.

4. Reading Without Implementing: This is similar with number one, but with a higher level.

Some people are know to read a lot but can never implement a thing they learnt from the book.

They only open a book, read to the end of it and close it without implementing a knowledge gotten from the book.

A knowledge that is not applied is completely useless. You might even read this post till the end without implementing a thing learnt from here.

5. Spending More Than Your Income: Many are known with this habit that before the month runs out, they are already on debt.

They believe that they should enjoy their money before they die. Who said you shouldn't enjoy your money?

You should just minimize the way you spend and increase your savings for investments in order not to die poor.

6. Only Thinking About Saving And Not How To Increase Your Income: Saving money is never a bad idea, but the problem is not thinking how to increase your income.

You believe limiting your way of life and saving more, but you never think of how to improve or increase your income.

A penny saved is just a penny, noting more.

Increase your income by investing the money you saved.

7. Not Investing In The Right Way: Some people are very good in saving. But when it comes to investing the money saved, they make the wrong decision.

They invest because of what the heard or because a friend is investing in that. At the end, the end up losing their money.

Before you make an investment, make some research about it and make sure it will yield you a good profit.


Now, avoiding all these bad money habits mentioned above will not only help you get rich but will help you make a fortune in life.

Remember, a knowledge that is not applied is completely useless. It is better not to know than to know and not apply it.
