JOB DESCRIPTION
-Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

-Documenting financial transactions by entering account information.

-Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

-Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

-Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

-Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

-Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.

-Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

-Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

-Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.

-Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations.

-Completes operations by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; implementing productivity standards; resolving operations problems; maintaining reference manuals; implementing new procedures.

-Controls expenses by gathering and submitting budget information; scheduling expenditures; monitoring variances; implementing corrective actions.

-Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.

-Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.

-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Qualification

-Must be a Female between the ages of 22 and 30

-Must have appropriate certification in Accounting.Possession of ICAN certification will be an added advantage

-Must be able to use Computers, MS Office software package and have knowledge of web-based systems.

-Must be a team player with good inter-personal skills and be open and able to lead change.

-First degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or any other related discipline

-Must be ready to resume immediately
