They are northerners brought to Lagos by a baron to beg around then deliver a certain amount at the end of the day.

That particular picture was taken at cms if I'm not mistaken. They now use little kids (empathy) for begging. You have them all around Lagos.
You maybe a bald man but you have sense

it's not jus Lagos but the entire south.

Some wise ones in Benin have taken to cleaning car windscreens in order to get money. These are the ones I have given my money to in a long while. At least I gave last time I was in Benin city.

We can't really apportion blames to the people that do not care because so many people are faced with bigger problems, all thanks to cloths.
And also you meet many children like this on the road everyday in lagos, especially around Ajah-Ilaje, they've turned begging into daily hustle

Normal aboki hustlers in Freedom way around Canadian embassy, Badore/Addo Road, V.G.C traffic light. If go don't give them money na war. They'll hang on your car and their legs will not touch ground. If they observe that you have left over food inside your car you must give them by fire by force. If you see any of their girls wearing head cap na money full inside.

That weeping na strategy.
Beggars are very cunning.
Cunning or not, it's obvious that this little boy is extremely poor and disadvantaged. And he's doing everything he can to survive, a little sympathy wont hurt you.
If this was a fully grown healthy adult then I'd understand your point of view. He's just a kid yo

Heartbreaking picture of an innocent child.

Yesterday a little boy was begging in the street of Lagos Island Nigeria, nobody responded to him,
Because no one cares.

Then a few minutes later he went on his near and start sharing tears besides the side walk of the road.

Na Lagosians born am?
Abegi, leave every mallam to him kettle.
With time he’ll perfect the art of begging.
When he hits age eight to ten he’ll learn to stack blocks for construction sites.
The country is hard, though easier than developed nations because Nigerians possess mercy.

Why should we care
We should care because we are Human beings not Animals, his Father's political stance has nothing to do with the little boy. Show a little compassion for your fellow human being especially a little child like this

As you're seeing him, his parents are somewhere watching, there's also their leaders watching them. There's a day I watched someone take bags of food to some Hausa beggars and they started sharing it. suddenly some old men(also beggars) stopped them and asked them to see them privately so that they can share the gift their own way, they've got people watching their backs. Leave those people jor

Who knows what she is passing through .A lady for that matter looking for a job as ordinary cleaner yet the mumu school couldn't consider her despite her cry.

Exactly especially in Mile 2 where you will see different types of sick people and you will be wondering what they are using the money giving to them to do. I think is high time government should intervene ooooo and stop all those people on uniform all in the name of they are an organization caring for them while at the end after months and years we are stilling seeing them on the street begging with the same sickness.
Re: Boy Weeps In The Street Of Lagos Island After No One Cared by b0rn2fuck(m): 1:47pm On Jun 08, 2019
If he begs alone, he would not eat or sleep alone. The government need to start taking away those kids for proper treatment, if not his future with the parents or guirdian is doom.

Where are his parents?

They sit at a corner, too proud to beg and watching from afar. They ask the Children to be running after vehicles to beg for money.
I know of one that I use to give money to, when she had another baby, I started doing Eyes Front.
She has 5 children doing this while she gossips. She will then be rebuking the children for not being as smart as the small girls around who make a lot of money running after car owners.

I have seen people trying to help them countless times, but they prefer to beg.

He is crying because he has to remmit money to the person handling him and if he fails to do so he might be punished. The solution is not to hive him money cos it will only reinforce the fact that he is a money making machine for who ever is sending him. Best bet is to know who is sending him and support him from there.

Exactly. Many of those kids are even kidnapped. One such survivor said people should not give beggers with kids any money cos most times the kids are mere tools/props for the career beggers. He says it's so lucrative that kids are being kidnapped, rented and birthed for the sole purpose of generating cash through begging. He said any child found with beggars or begging should be questioned incase he is a victim of kidnap

Do people share tears or shed tears ?
All these tears you people are sharing should not get to me ooh.

Seriously if you are a blogger, you have some work to do proof reading and editing your articles before you post them.

They usually have a leader that coordinate things. there's one at Igando, close to the BRT beside the police station. he's the oga, this man has many Okada and Keke he gives to people for higher purchase, he's got a grown up son, the son grew up in Lagos and is living the sourhern life of a young guy, dives okada too, the guy told some friends the dad is building a big house in the north. if it's ur average guy, the person would have cleaned up, leave the begging, but no. this guy is still begging and if u don't know, u will think he's a broke guy looking for a daily bread. him, his wife and 3 of the younger kids are always on the street. they give birth regularly to keep up with the sympathy of a homeless struggling family, cos even if u can ignore the parents, u can't ignore the young breastfeeding children.
