Tragedy struck at Nigeria and West Africa's largest airline, Air Peace on Friday, 07 June 2019 with the untimely demise of it's Communications Manager, Mr Chris Iwarah.

The cold hands of death snatched the media professional away along the Lagos- Ibadan Expressway where he had stopped to fix his car.

Having parked at Mangoro bus stop, a bus whose driver had lost control rammed into him and his vehicle at high speed, killing him instantly.

The former journalist and trained lawyer worked for the Sun Newspapers, before moving over to Air Peace as the airline's pioneer Communications Manager.

The airline obviously has not confirmed the incident seeing as Mr Iwarah was their Communications Manager, but the sad news has been confirmed by the Sun.
