Please is it possible for a failed transaction that was debited from, customers account to in any way credited to our wallet?.

For instance, I did a transfer for someone since 23rd of October, and it wasn't successful, but the person came back today 27the to say her bank said the money was paid but I didn't have any unexplained money in my wallet.
