Nathan is a Graduate of Mass Communication, who just recently finished his NYSC programme and wants to land his first job, so he can showcase his talents and abilities. The problem is that all the job interviews he gets invited for often lead to rejections. Nathan told me last week that he is about giving up and that the system is rigged against young graduates who are yet to get any kind of experience in their field.

It is quite difficult to find a job description for available vacancies these days that do not list experience as one of their requirements. Instead of complaining that companies/organizations do not consider students who are most affected by strike actions by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), there are some ways you can counter the experience issue associated with so many job vacancies.
