A youth corps member, Chidinma Stella Oyebisi, who was serving in Kano state, has died.

According to her friends, Chidinma who got married in October last year, died minutes after giving birth to a baby girl yesterday June 15th.

Stella who graduated from the Kano state Polytechnic over a year ago, died as a result of complications that arose whilst she was giving birth.

Her friends have taken to social media to mourn her sudden demise.

They got married in August and she died on Friday the 14th not 15th.

Maternal mortality sha in Africa.

Please every expectant mother,try to access good hospitals and prepare ahead for your childbirth.Don't just rush to any hospital when you fall into labour.Prepare ahead and ensure you have good health personnel to aid your childbirth.

I'm not saying that is what happened in her case but some of these maternal mortality cases can be avoided.I just lost a neighbor too.
