NYSC will communicate to corps members on N30,000 allowance says DG

According to Brig Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim, NYSC Director-General, stated that the National Youth Service Corps will communicate to corps members whenever the payment of the new allowance of N30,000 begins.

This statement was made in a special program named “NYSC Freedom of Information Desk Officers” a workshop held in Abuja. DG on Friday noted that the scheme had grappled with challenges occasioned by what he described as the apparent lack of knowledge of the NYSC’s policies and operations by a section of the public.

When questioned about the information on the proposed N30,000 allowance for corps members, the DG said, “They will be communicated accordingly, please.”
