Join us to lift 10,000 widows and indigent mothers out of poverty!

I met Mrs Betty Asemota some weeks ago when I visited my big sister in Agege-Lagos. She came to my sister's house with an elderly man to evangelize the 'gospel'. I patiently listened to them as they quoted scriptures upon scripture and recited the usual rhyme of 'giving your life to Christ'.
I would have allowed them to go quietly for a job well done of 'sharing the gospel'. But their closing remark provoked my anger.
"we are Inviting you to come and worship with us and your life will never remain the same again"
At this point, I could not hold back my outburst
' So the reason you came here to preach to us was to invite us to your church and not to preach the kingdom of God or the gospel of love. So tell me" why should I come to your church? (by the way, the church they represent is one of the biggest old generation churches in Nigeria)
I queried further, ' how is your church supporting you and your family? Can any of your children attend the university owned by your church?. Does your church support your family when you are in need? ......... "
As I confronted them with all of these facts and questions, they fired back in defense of their church refusing to see reasons with me.

At this point I realized that I needed to preach a superior gospel that would shatter their bondage of indoctrination.
I observed closely that Mrs Betty Asemota looked very emanciated and needy. It was obvious she was overwhelmed with family challenges and from her lean and pale stature she probably was not feeding very well and she looked malnourished. You could tell she was struggling to survive. I was moved with deep compassion for her!!
"Madam I want to show you how we preach the gospel of Christ, now take some money. I am sure you would need this to buy some food for your family"
As she recieved the money, she could not hide her excitement and she knelt down thanking me for the kind gesture.
'Please stand up ma, It is God that said I should bless you. What do you do for a living?
" I am a petty trader, selling in Agege"
"OK, don't worry, we would come and visit you and see how we can support your business"
On hearing that her face brightened up with a big smile as she left with her colleague.

Mrs Betty Asemota, 51 yrs old, who is from Edo state, lives with her husband and 7 children in a one room apartment in Agege-Lagos. The husband who is jobless and the 7 children depend on her petty trading for survival. According to her the total capital she uses for trading is about #15000. and this is what the entire family depend on.
However, today, her joy knew to bounds as the team of Voice of Divine Truth International Outreach visited her in the market and gave her a free cash grant of N20, 000 to support her business.
To God be the glory.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

Our target is to empower 10,000 Widows and indigent mothers with free cash grants, to enable them to start or boost their petty businesses. The goal of this project is to economically empower poor widows and indigent mothers to improve their livelihood so as to be able to cater for their families.

Please note that the videos and pictures of all our charitable activities are not intended to 'impress or show off' to anybody, rather it is our practical way of teaching humanity how to love one another.

We are showing you this video of one of our empowerment project activities

1. To create awareness for the plight of hapless widows and indigent mothers globally, who are traumatized, oppressed, impoverished and abandoned by government, religious organizations and the society.

2. To practically teach you, that service to humanity is the only true 'religion' that God recognizes (James 1:27), and that the religion you practice is meaningless before God if you fail to help the poor and the needy around you.

3. To inspire you to join this campaign to lift poor widows, indigent mothers and their families out of poverty. Look around you, there are poor widows and indigent mothers struggling for survival. Emulate us by supporting them with ₦20,000 to boost their petty businesses (Look for poor widows in your locality and give them the money DIRECTLY).

4. To inspire religious organizations (especially the church, my constituency), to begin to promote the cause of love and our shared humanity, over and above religious rituals and dogmas.

If you wish to know more about us and how you can join or support this campaign, please kindly call or whatsapp: +2348084701414 or +2348087656176.
