The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria says it has reached out to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria over the allegations of rape levelled against the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo.

The Special Assistant, Media and Communications to the CAN President, Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, said this in a statement on Saturday.

Fatoyinbo had been accused of rape by Busola Dakolo, wife of musician, Timi Dakolo.

Some other alleged victims have also come forward, accusing the pastor of rape, an allegation Fatoyinbo has denied.

However, CAN said it would get to the root of the matter.

This rape allegations again the Senior pastor & founder of COZA church is seriously becoming an issue that the police should come in & investigate to prove if the Senior pastor is guilty or not also Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria (PFN) & indeed CAN should seriously educate & caution its members on the serious implications involve in raping an individual or sleeping with church members especially married women of the church all in the name of conducting deliverance.
