If you haven't heard of Google Local Guides then you are missing so much. This is a volunteer programme that involves adding accurate information on Google Maps. You can take this as a community project to add businesses and organizations on the map. You can also tap into it as part of a digital marketing business including 360 Photo consultancy.

Since 2016, more than 400 persons have gone to California as a result of their contributions in 2018 about 150 were invited and 2019 it increased to 200 members who will be at Googleplexfor almost a week. All expense paid.

Google has invited about 200 Local Guides to visit its headquarters in California. Nine of the invitees are Nigerians and will be flying the flag in Silicon Valley.

This is an all expenses paid event. Joining the Local Guide program is free but you must be contributing regular information to Google Maps and doing related community work.
