There has been a Pipe line explosion at Ijegun in an area popularly known as fire junction , on May 15 2008 similar incident occurred in the same area which the Nigerian Red cross estimated a death toll of 100 . Ijegun is located in Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos.
