Daniel, a final year student of Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has been apprehended for trying to use his course mate for rituals.

The final year student of the department of Biological Science said he wanted to sacrifice his course mate so he will be successful in his yahoo business.

Caught at the student’s lodge in Bliss Mansion, Daniel confessed to the crime.

Daniel had called his friend and pleaded with him to sleep in his house.

At about 2:00am, he wanted to strangle his friend to death for a ritual purpose.

It took the intervention of his neighbours who heard the noise and came for his rescue.

Witnesses say Daniel is a cultist who is in the practice of using people for rituals in order to be successful in internet fraud (Yahoo) business.

He has since been arrested by the school Man O’War and was handed over to the DSS.
