Not Sure if this is the right section, but anyway.

I cut my hair April 2018, meeehn it was a mess and I don't even blame myself. I started wearing wigs and began treating the hair with so much neglect. But prior to that I had already lost basically all my edges to one very tight crochet I did.

Since then, I developed a phobia for Salons in general. It's approaching two years now and my hair has been recovering gradually. It's Very thick now although my edges still aren't there yet. But now I'm tired of wearing wigs because those things can age somebody like crazy sad

So I want to braid (ikr?) I just really really want to get some ghana braids in there. But I don't want to go back to square one (lose the small edges I've managed to achieve cry )
I don't know how some ladies are able to pull off Ghana braids without experiencing some breakage at least. If there are tips I'd like to know because I'm hell bent on getting these braids in grin
