The United Nations Children Education Funds, UNICEF, has revealed that five out of each 10 kids in Jigawa State are in a risk of poor mind and inside organs improvement.

This was expressed by Bhanu Pathak, Chief of Field Office, UNICEF Nigeria, Bauchi Field Office, spoken to by the Nutritionist Specialist, Bauchi field office, Philomena Irene, at the Advocacy and Capacity Building Workshop for Jigawa State House of Assembly Legislators held in Kano, Kano State.

She clarified an ongoing SMART Survey directed uncovered that Jigawa is as yet one of the States that has a hindering development rate in the nation with – 54% rate.

“In each 10 youngsters in Jigawa state 5 of them are in a risk of poor mind and interior organs improvement which are basic for the future profitability of people and for the monetary intensity of the state,” she expressed.
