The Netgear Orbi setup process will only work if you have disconnected from Verizon Fios network completely and properly and perform the setup process along with your WiFi settings.
Despite the fact that disconnecting from Verizon Fios network and setting up a Netgear Orbi seems to be difficult.

But we do have a simple procedure for this as well. Without any issue, you can easily go through the Netgear Orbi WiFi setup process by simply following the procedure given below:

In the first place, please get disconnected from the Verizon WiFi network

If you have a 'Fios router' then go via the First set of procedure.
And if you have a Fios Quantum Gateway then go through the Second set of procedure.

The First set of procedure:

Open the web browser on a device that is connected to your Verizon Fios router properly.
Type 192.168.1.1 or orbilogin com into the browser's address bar, not into the search bar.
Now, acess the Orbi login account by typing in the admin details (username and password).
Click on the 'Quick Links' that are available at the left panel of the viewing screen.
Now, highlight the option to Change Wireless Settings. Once done, please click on it.
Then, turn off the slider located in front of the Wireless option. After that, your Fios router will shut down automatically.

The Second set of Procedure:

On any of your WiFi-enabled device, load up the My Fios application.
Go to My Networks.
Click on the label for Enabled.
Here, you have to click on OFF to enable the wireless network privately.

The Netgear Orbi Setup Instructions:

Power-cycle your Fios router by plugging it from the power source. Wait for a couple of minutes and plug it back again.
After that, establish a strong internet connection between your Verizon Fios router and Netgear Orbi router.
Plug one end of Ethernet cable into internet port of your Orbi and another end with the LAN (local area network) port of Verizon.
Plug-in your Orbi router. Turn it on. Wait for a couple of seconds for the LED behind your Orbi router to become solid green.

If it has become solid green, it means that your device is connected with the internet properly without any issue.

Netgear Orbi Satellite Setup

Plug-in your Orbi satellite. Turn on the power.
Wait for some time for the Orbi light to sync with your Orbi router properly.
Once it has been synchronized the LED light on the Orbi satellite will become white and after a few minutes, it will start blinking white.

Tip: Restart your modem if you are facing Netgear Orbi connection issues. Also, ensure that your modem is up-to-date.

Download And Install The Orbi Application:

First of all, in any of your android or iOS-based devices - search for the Orbi application.
As soon as you find the Orbi application, click and after that, download it.
Once the app has been installed successfully - open it and go to New System Setup option.
Click on create a WiFi network.
Assign a unique and a strong network name (SSID) and password.
Click on Next once done.
At the Netgear Orbi admin login page create a new and long password for admin.

Netgear Orbi Setup As An Access Point Mode

Visit orbilogin net from a web browser on any device that has uninterrupted internet connectivity.
Sign in to the Orbi account.
Type your admin name and password.
Go to Advanced and after that, click on Advanced setup.
Here, you can see an option for 'Route and AP mode' (without quotes).
Click on the checkbox in front of access point mode.
Finally, click on Apply and save the settings.

As soon as you are done with all the aforementioned steps successfully your Netgear Orbi will reboot automatically. It might take up to 2 minutes and after that, it will be ready for use.
