When SKIMMING TO SMOOTH, do take note of the following;
.
● The viscosity of the putty should be light. ● The putty should be free of lumps or particles ● The trowel should slant (45°) upright when sliding ● Keep a wet edge (use a water spray if need be) in other to ensure clean slide of the trowel.
● If the need for abrading becomes neccessary, 320 - 450 grade abrasive will aid the smoothness.
