A member of gang of thieves who operate at night has been caught in Benin, Edo State.

The young man was caught and tortured. The people that caught him also sprayed pepper spray in his eyes.

In the video, they were seen Spraying pepper spray on him while lamenting how they go about stealing at night while people are in deep sleep, especially during rains.

An eyewitness, Ofem Inas, who reached out to TheFamousNaija recounted how it happened:

"We caught this thief early hours of the morning in my Area PZ Road, Benin. They come to your house while you are sleeping, they will tear your net, use long stick to pick up valuables and you won't even know. Luckily we caught this one today."

This is another example of the "Nigerian Wickedness" I keep talking about, you caught a 'burglar' (unarmed and no threat to your life) you have tortured him and you still go ahead to spray chemical in his eyes risking his eyesight and life just because he came to steal a few replaceable things from you...... angry
