In order to apply for PMP certification, there are certain mandatory requirements. Firstly, the person needs to be experienced (5 years) project manager meeting the following prerequisites: Responsible for all sphere of the lifecycle of the project. Perform duties under general supervision. Leading and directing cross-functional teams. Delivering projects within constraints of time and budget. Demonstrate apt knowledge of experience to apply a methodology to projects deliverables. Know more about the PMP Certification The Certification Prerequisites are as follow: You need a Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent) and 7,500 hours leading and directing projects, and also 35 hours of project management education. OR Alternatively, you require a Four-year degree, 4,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education.
