Yeah, i had the same thoughts about the older amd APU processors. But this one runs on the latest Ryzen processors that are as power efficient as the 8th gen Intel processors with the added advantage of the integrated vega GPUs . I initially wanted to buy a lenovo laptop that ran on this same processor from Amazon but my ATM card limit hindered the purchase. I just had to settle for the hp laptop

Yea I agree with you the power efficiency of the latest processors but my fear is with the heat dissipated or something that causes the processor to dislodge from the board and or die outrightly.

I have used this processor for 7 years now with constant gaming. AMD has since upgraded their game.

Every cpu heats, every gpu heats
It's the problem of the laptop creators to find a cooling system that is sufficient to cool these chips
