The LRU team yesterday put in practice what they know how to do which is saving lives and making Lagos roads free of fallen tankers, making it motorable and attending to emergencies.

Every driver's headache is tanker on Lagos roads as they can destroy, kill and render one's life useless.

There was a fallen container at Sunrise Underbridge, Apapa which was secured and retrieved by Lagos Response Unit (LRU) of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) in collaboration with Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA). According to reports, no casualties were recorded as everything went on as planned.

Why are they taking the container away from the road? Can't they see how disgusting that road looks? That container was covering a multitude of sins

Something must be done ASAP about these tankers that keep falling on our roads like a pack of cards.

We can never forget the day we witnessed one that fell on an SUV killing all the 3 passengers while turning the SUV into something as flat table!!
It was tears galore that very day!

We need to learn how many things are being done in sane societies abroad.
You will even see some trucks carrying more than 10 cars at once and every vehicles around them feel safe!
We see them on TV everyday.

It is only in Nigeria you see truck companies holding containers in place with some kinda rope!!
Who does that?!

Well done I must say I drove down to ikeja I was so impressed the new buses add some swag to our streets now all they have to do is build a train line to apapa and solve this issue even that rail line pillar doesn’t look strong enough o

With all the money that comes to Lagos coffers its a shame seeing roads like these.
Perhaps they should ask Anambra State what they did to have the best motorable roads apart from Federal Roads in the State
