maybe i'm just being a jerk. the moment you start ordering things by yourself, you will realise nigerians are very very very greedy. [at least most of them are]. i regularly order stuff via ebay or amazon. what you need to do is look at customer feedback. unlike nigeria where people do rubbish and get away with it, people in most of these venues give direct feedback on poor service.

this will directly imoact in future sales. it is not like nl where some joker will find new victims. the seller has a page full of praise or complaints

i order ebay and amazon all the time, and it is only once i got disappointed with something that was not working right.

I did not think it would be any use , but my kids laptops have touchscreens and we get a lot of mileage out of them. I have been buying high end workstations and laptops before the misfortune of the leaking of the condom that let you into the world to run your ignorant mouth. His laptop is overpriced, but that is how Nigerians do.

Don't expect he'd land a laptop from eBay to come sell at cost price. At your price, that laptop would land at least 410k and a profit of about 25% isn't bad at all for an item that 410k was invested in.

Two years ago, a colleague needed a laptop with a GPu. I referred him to the lenovo outlet. If I hadn't done that someone would have charged him 300k for the same spec.

The item in question did not have a 300% markup on it, it had just over 25%. Are you saying he's greedy charging 25% on the item he's selling?

Some persons might not have the luxury of patience especially when they can buy one from the guy on Nairaland whenever they want.

Shopping online requires some level of experience, one which a lot of persons lack so why gamble 400k online when you can simply call the OP and have the same item delivered to you risk-free?
