From research,it has been proven that mobile phones emit radio frequency radiation (radio waves) which is not harmful to the body initially. It has also been proven that the body absorbs radio waves from mobile phones in form of heat which is not able to raise the body temperature but definitely increases the percentage of heat in the human body.
Scientist have therefore warned against the constant exposure to mobile devices because the effect of long term exposure to mobile devices is yet to be proven.
So as the saying goes, "prevention is better than cure" ,it is advisable to adhere to these steps below to eliminate chances of being at risk.

1. Do not sleep with your phone near you
2. Keep phone away from your head and body when not in use
3. Avoid using phone when mobile signal is low
4. Steer clear of apps that claim to block radioactive waves
5. Remove headset when not on call or listening to music
6. Avoid putting your phone in the breast pocket of your top

So there it is, does mobile phone cause cancer? it is yet to be proven.
