The Taycan is the first new model to feature integrated Apple Music and an Apple Music introductory subscription as standard. The latest is that it will be the first car that has integrated Apple Music features directly into its infotainment system.

While Apple Music is already accessible via the screen-mirrored Apple Car-play feature that the Taycan also offers, direct integration provides additional features. For example, if a user selects a title from another source, e.g. FM satellite radio or other streaming service, it can use this title to create a custom Apple Music channel or add it to his portfolio.

This also means tighter integration into the car, where Porsche's voice control can control Apple Music instead of Siri, and playlists can be displayed on the instrument cluster and selected via the steering wheel controls. Compare this to CarPlay, which is referred to the middle screen (although the iOS 13 update supports multiple screens). And users do not need to have their phone with them (as if that's ever going to happen) to use their account. The amalgamation of Apple Music also includes playlists selected by Porsche.

Even more noteworthy, Taycan shoppers receive data for three years to better stream Apple Music.
They also receive a free subscription for six months.
