Over the years, this topic has been one of the most controversial topics in this part of Africa. Nigeria is well known for her contribution to the global music industry and the likes of Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido are ensuring we are not left behind in the global sense. One genre of music that has been in constant limelight is Hip-Hop. Many believes rap is dead in Nigeria and the so called rappers are just doing all they can to survive even if that means compromising their principles. Today, we're going to look at the 5 greatest rappers in Nigeria and how they achieved this feat.
1. MI Abaga
It is not a surprise this name is on the very top of this list. Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI (Mister Incredible), to me is the greatest rapper Nigeria will ever produce and with the look of things, nobody will ever get to that point and meet with the standards he has created. His Illegal Music series are the best hip hop albums that will ever come out of Nigeria and in 2015, he blessed us with the Chairman album. A lot can be said about this man but i'd rather stop here because the truth is, this man is the greatest Nigeria will ever see.
2. Dagrin
3. Modenine
4. SDC
5. Vector
