Thank God for the journey mercies! I'm kind of curious, if you don't mind, did you get the SA visa  that you paid for ?

Happy to hear that things are working for you, I wish you more success in Malaysia. However i will like you to kindly assist me by giving me detail and genuine advice for someone that will like to visit Malaysia or South Cyprus.
I want to know if its possible to work in any of the two country as a visitor. I will be most grateful for you sincere advice.
Thank you.

^^^ Are you talking cheap?
You already said there's NO JOB in Malaysia and yet you are encouraging him to come over as a visitor and "make it" (silly remark from you) by trying his luck job hunting here.

@ Fkenny
Please be warned that Malaysians don't hire Africans; with few exceptions for professionals in limited specialised fields. Don't try your luck and waste your hard earned money looking for job here, you won't get any. Moreover, being a foreign visitor, you are not allowed to work. You don't want to end up in the detention centre if caught after the two weeks fun-filled time on your social visit visa expires. I'm tryna be honest here, you are African and you are black, you stand out among us so no Malaysian would risk employing you unless you have employment visa which could only be procured through the Malaysian Immigration Dept via your employer. The hassle is too much and approval is hard to get.

Some people might tell you money can solve the problem, I've no comment on that cos I adhore corruption. Anyway, it's your choice if you still wanna play the hard game.

@raintee i know wat am saying, are u telling me that no black is working in malaysia? but the chance is narrow.is God that help, not ur personal effort.like me i vebt get but a friend of mine is working in a school(3 month after he got here)and now there is working permit on his paper, despite the student visa he got earlier.
am not telling him that he should risk it,but our destiny differs.u may not make here,is that means others cant.try to understand me.(i dont know him.)
my friend is in russia working4 years now(we all know Russian behavior and economy)
@ all now, if ur God tell u to go a particular place, don't question him go,u will surely make it.not that people are making it there and u go, u will surely reap it
i dont discourage people but advice. so may God lead our path

Two Nigerians escaped, Immigration officers suspended

PUTRAJAYA: Two Nigerian nationals who are being deported for misusing their student visas escaped early Thursday morning.

One of two Immigration officers who were escorting the Nigerians for deportation claimed seven unknown men had used forced to free the two when he had stopped the van carrying the men at a petrol station near the airport.

The two Immigration officers had been placed under immediate suspension pending investigations.

KLIA Immigration Depot director Datuk Mohmed Asri Yusof said the two Immigration officers had taken the Nigerians to the airport together with a Palestinian, who was also to be deported.

He said one of the officers then escorted the Palestinian into the airport at 12.15am to check his flight home while the Nigerians remained in the van with the other officer as their flights was only scheduled for 2.55am.

However when the first officer returned after seeing off the Palestinian he found that his colleague had driven the van, with the Nigerians still inside, to a Petronas station nearby, supposedly to purchase some drinks.

"Fifteen minutes later the second officer contacted his colleague, who was still at the airport, to say he had been stopped by seven African men who had used force to free the two Nigerians before handcuffing him to the steering wheel," he told a press conference after attending the National Registration Department Innovation Day launch Thursday.

The second officer lodged a police report on the incident at 1.30am while the first officer lodged his report at about 3.30am.

The two Nigerians, Solomon Udo Eneh and Osuji Chinedu, were being deported after they were found to have abused their student visas.

Yusof appealed to the public to report anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant to the police.

Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Mahmood Adam told the same press conference that the ministry was keen to know how the two Nigerians, who were handcuffed, managed to escape.

The ministry, he said, also wanted to identify any weaknesses in the escorting procedures that might have led to the incident.

He said the ministry was currently also working on tightening the standard operating procedure in escorting, transporting and deporting foreigners.

"The Immigration Department's Flying Squad has launched a manhunt together with the police and I believe we will be able to find them," he said.

Anyone at the scene who managed to obtain any photograph or video recording of the alleged incident can email it to newsdesk@thestar.com.my

How much BTA, do i need to put together for this journey? I also want to buy some cheap stuffs i can as well sell when i come back to Nigeria.
If i want to book for a hotel reservation which City in Malaysia would i book a hotel considering the fact i have to shop.

For an hotel. I book through an hotel in Kuala Lumpur from online with my GTB card. They will only charge you the first night and you pay the rest on arrival or you can give them instruction to charge all the amount on your GTB card so you know you have fixed that to have upper hand at the point of entry because i did the same. You also get a complimentary airport pick up from the hotel depending on the type of room you book. www.citrushotelkl.com also they helped me with one security personnel that walks with me round for security and i pay his lunch. Please be careful of Indians there. Some of them hold knives and can rob you once they see you are new comer.

Let me break it down for you.for the BTA. Have minimum 1500 us$. Pay hotel balance of 500$ then you are left with 1000$ which is 3000 Ringgit. Budget 300 Ringgit for food for 2 weeks and you have 2700 Ringgit. Budget 700 Ringgit to tour round KL and also visit Genting Theme park In Genting Island. You must visit this place. It's highlight of fun in KL.

So for shopping.Go to chinatown and bargain. You get cheap and quality stuffs.with 1500 Ringgit i was able to buy my family and friends alot.shoes.bags,clothes,perfumes and chocolates.but at random places.Don't buy at one place but be random.Visit SOGO shopping mall. Visit Laut for anything electronics, Visit Bukit Bintang (This place you get alot of branded and unbranded stuffs like very cheap.Nice boutique shirt for 30 Ringgit which is 1500 Naira here but same clothes can go for 3000-4000 naira in some boutiques here in Nigeria) Bukit bintang is a place you would be tired to be amazed.

Also if you are looking to come home and resell.Try clothes and others wears accessories. It's cheap and you could carry them pass immigration without paying any duty.So you are left with 500 Ringgit. With that you could do extra.

For me i requested my family sent me extra 1000$ so i could buy stuffs which made it 2500$ in total i took there.

One advise i have for you. When you visit the shopping malls. Please hold yourself and don't look at everything because the price tags will lure you because when you do the conversion you will be tempted to almost buy anything you see.I had that problem.

I hope i broke it down for you well.

For your visa.I did mine through a friend of mine.A registered travel adviser and an agent who helps in visa applications. He did mine under 3 days for some amount.Just my passport and money i gave him and i got it.

Well feel free to ask anything and would be glad to answer it.I also dis-virgin my passport and came back.NO WORK IN MALAYSIA !!! in case you have that at the back of your mind.

Also flight should be through egyptair. They are cheap. i paid 199 000 Naira for a return ticket with one stopover in cairo.

So you do the math for your budget. You should be fine. For the visa. I don't know if it's allowed here to promote agents but i did mine through one. So let me know if you still mind.

@Fris, Alot of thanks to you, infact you have really given me all the information i needed i so much appreciate.
with all the information you have given to me now,$2800 will be enough for both BTA and Ticket.

As regards Visa i dont mind doing it through your friend since he is real. let me know how to go about that.

For hotel reservation, i checked the site you gave to me i saw single room for 170 Ringgit, i want to spend like 7 days in malaysia which will amount to 1190 Ringgit.so i dont know if this is ok.

Loking forward for your response.

Gracias
