The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has been ridden with scandals in recent times. From financial corruption to match-fixing issues, it’s been from one problem to another. But now, the worst of all embarrassment has befallen the association. CAF may not be able to pay the winners of this year’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) because it is ‘broke’. From AFCON winners, Algeria, to finalists including Senegal and third-place winners Nigeria, no one is yet to get their monies from CAF.
