As a No. 1 Man Utd fan, i am asking this question: "Where did it go wrong for Man Utd ? "
Some say we didn't buy players,
Others say Ruud Boy is not as SHARP as he was for tthe last two seasons.
And few say, its because of the GLAZER brothers, dat they brought BLOOD money to OLD TRAFFORD

Well my take:
1. Man Utd will rise again
2. We are building a new team, so chelsea, arsenal and co. Watch out
3. MAN UTD FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think our problem is that we don't have someone that can inspire both on and off the field. we are more of a club than a team. Like you, I believe we will rise again.  We need at least 1 person who understands and can pal up with the palyers and motivate them. I also think SAF needs to bring someone with the charisma and strength of Lampard. Giggsy is old and so is Scholes.
Christiano and Rooney are undisciplined and Fletcher is a mess up.Silvestre too. Ruud is operating a one man show up front with little input from Rooney.

Honestly don't know
I'm not superstitious but I find myself almost succumbing to the jinx theory
Maybe no defending champ can hold on to till the jinx is broken
