When they groom themselves, they are looking for insects and other creepy crawlies nestled in their fur. I guess that's their preoccupation with human hair. It's an instinct.

I like monkeys. Is there any disadvantage of owning a monkey as pet? They should be cared for and put on leather leash like we do dogs but instead we chain them like prisoners. Ive seen monkeys with even padlocks. Its a shame.
