So I'm quite new to poker and looking for advice on when/how to start playing live poker, not online.

My question is, when do you guys think I should start going to casinos? I played online poker for a few hours a day, and also tried to learn as much as possible (books, podcasts, articles, etc.)...) and while it's exciting and fun, I thought about going to the casino and playing a live game in person, but also don't want to get shat on. So when do you think it's time to go to the casino? wait for at least break even in most online games or win? after x-time? or just jump in and start playing the poker room, fire test style?

Also, I'm studying the curriculum here on CLP, but if you guys have any other resources that you think are worth checking out, I'm all ears.

I would add more .. Don't expect to win right away.. Play the smallest NL game in your casino that you feel comfortable with .. i.e. don't worry about hitting the rake. You will have the opportunity to adapt to all living things that we all take for granted.
