They are just trying to use Nigeria to get a call up to the English national team.

These guys career would die off early should they pick Nigeria. They just can't resist the pride here unlike England that there will be competition.

This is just too beautiful.
They remember and admire their Father's land on this beautiful day.

While some people have been cursing the land they live on all day.

Antidotes to Success is glaring at us all.
And if you chose to be pessimistic all your lives, that is your call.

Good one guys.
We wish you all the very best for the future.

All these U.K based stars can make d difference for Naija.

We've had foreign born and schooled footballers domainate the national team in numbers not ever seen before but unfortunately it still has not returned us to the heady heights of 94' when our team was essentially substantialy home grown with few having ever stepped outta Nigeria, but with a gaffer who knew his onions.

Foreign players have long lost their allure in my eyes. And from the above analysis it is evident that a quality manager is just as, if not more important to our National teams. For heavens sake Lionel Messi just cannot cut it for the Albiceleste simply because the Argentine FA is a calamity witu human DNA.

Let us emphasise and demand better management and stop all this idolatry please.

You are absolutely right. Even if we get the best foreign based players the coach is not tactically sound.

Nigeria has an abundance of central defenders to choose from:

Omeruo
Balogun
Aina
Tomori
Adeborioyo
Ekong
Awaziem

Where we need to strengthen is at the wings especially left back because that Jamiu is not really cutting it undecided
That's not true. Jamilu Collins is our best Fb/wing back in both club and country and he has proved it with performance. The closest in our team to him is Awaziem though Aina is improving gradually

Do u remember John Fashanu, Gabriel Argbonlahor, Jordan Ibe? Are u aware of how their international careers were killed? I need not say more except u aren't really knowledgeable in football.

Please stay and Play for England, we at Chelsea love you with or without playing for Nigeria. The bulk of those that might condemn you would gladly jump at playing for even Iceland as against Nigeria if given a chance.
