This is the University of Nigeria (UNN) First Year Registration/clearance procedures for the newly admitted students for the 2019/2020 academic session; who want to carry out their online registration via the University portal.

These first year candidates are expected to pay rapt attention to the details and procedures, in order to avoid missing out in any of the requirements for the clearance.

UNN First Year Registration/clearance starts from candidates name appearing on the admission list for 2019/2020 academic year, and that follows other procedures that you are about to seen.

When you have seen your names on the admission list, you need to proceed with the online application by signing up with the University portal.

UNN First Year Signup

At the UNN portal freshers are to create their school profile with the following details:

JAMB Registration Number
The Remitta RRR Code

This is the Remitta invoice retrieval number that you used while applying for the UNN Post UTME. If you did not use your email while registering for the post UTME, then you need to go back to the cyber café for rectification and retrieval of your RRR number from them.

First Visit the School Portal with the link below:

https://unnportal.unn.edu.ng/
Click on the "Undergraduate" tab. A button will appear, asking you to Signup. then click on Signup Here.

It will take you to the Page where you will add your JAMB Registration Number with the RRR Number I mentioned earlier.


From here, you can proceed with changing your login details (password). Then go back too the school Portal with the link above to login as a UNN Student.
