Job Duties
To study and concentrate in obtaining the best possible product knowledge of the Siemens and Moore Process Automation and Control Products in the following fields in particular:
APACS (including APS and Process Suite), Safety shutdown systems (QUADLOG), Compressor control, Batch Applications, Measurement and Control, SAP Middleware, PCS7, Variable Speed drives, Other Siemens equipment.
Undertake configuration of the software utilising such standard configuration tools available from Moore Products Co. and Siemens such as IEC 1131-3 4-Mation language for control systems and ProcessSuite and APS software for Windows NT and UNIX based operator stations, as well as the relevant tools relating to Siemens equipment.
Understand and make use of Engineering Tools (eg. MB Analyzer, Diagnostic Logger, M-Net Analyzer, HMI Bridge, Remote Dial-in) to diagnose communication anomalies.
