Academic and Non-teaching Staff of Ladoke Akintola University University, Ogbomoso on Wednesday staged a peaceful protest pushing for sole ownership of the Institution.

The institution which is jointly owned by Oyo and Osun States has been in the news over alleged refusal of Osun State government to pay salaries of August and September this year.

The protesting staff carried placards with varying inscriptions (Lautech bleeds, Osun hands off) asking Osun state government to hands off the joint ownership.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities had earlier threatened to frustrate academic activities if the Osun state Government fails to pay outstanding salaries as contained in the schedule of payments.
