2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass (mirror) the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord

The Word of God is the mirror of God, and the more we look at the Word, the more we see ourselves. Now our opening scripture says: as we behold the glory of God in a mirror, we are metamorphosed; we are changed into the same image that we see in the mirror of God. What’s the mirror of God? The Word! And who’s the Word? Jesus. That means the more you know Jesus, the more you know you, for you’re in Him, and He’s the Word.

You cannot know Jesus without discovering who you are; to know you, you look at Jesus for He’s the mirror of God. This is why it’s important that you keep looking into the mirror of God. It’s not a one-off act, but a continuous activity recommended for us by the Spirit of God, for as you keep looking into the mirror of God, you’re changed! Your life is improved, and you become more and more of what you see in the mirror. As you keep looking, the scales are taken off, the veil is removed and you can clearly see yourself as the glory of God.

James 1:25
anyone who looks into the perfect law of liberty – the mirror of God – and continues to look, being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, that man shall be blessed in his deed (of looking).


Such a man is marked out for blessings for looking continually into the mirror of God. The daily mediation on the word in essential for Christian growth.

Ive always said that James was a great man of God , with great principles. The fact that I pointed out some issues in his writings doesn't mean that I condemned his epistles .

Oga Jo you better explain this your sermon very well ooh. Some people fit go 'laminate' their bible hang for their sitting room dey look am (three times daily dosage)  Some fit approach you to buy the mirror self, another opportunity for you to make money be that, (selling mirrors) The sermon no complete 

It seems you make a sport of mockery at the word of God zikky. Why not just read an exhortation and be blessed by it?
