The latest news report revealed that Italy has voted to reduce the number of MPs and senators to saves funds for the country. The singular, most important question which bombarded my mind was when would the idea of doing similar thing happen in my dearest country, Nigeria? Would it EVER come to pass in Nigeria that our senators and members of house of Representative agree to reduce their population and fat emoluments and take home pays? Are we really patriotic and self- less to that extent to put Nigeria first and save our economy from the present unenviable position? |

Saner is not a Nigerian word and as such has no meaning among we Nigerians. |
