THE LAW OF PARSIMONY
The law of parsimony states that there is no need to use two remedies if one is effective. If that is the case, then i have a concern.
The concern is on the use of drugs and prayers to heal the sick. Why do Christians make use of drugs and prayers at the same time.
Does it mean that the drugs is not effective or the prayer is not too effective?
If they are independently effective, why contradict the law of parsimony?
does drugs require the assistance of prayers to be effective, or does prayers require drugs to be more effective?
I believe that prayers can heal any kind of sickness, what i dont understand is why we need to pray before we can take the drugs.

Because prayer has not been shown to affect recovery:

Perhaps God may be busy with other things or resting at the time of prayer,so an alternative should be provided
