Vegetables is good for body systems make sure eat at least three different veg in a day. Farm vegetables around ur compound even u don't av big but the little space in compound make a garden of different veg.

CUCUMBER DISEASE

DOWNY  MILDEW (Pseudoperonospora cubensis)

Downy mildew refers to any of several types of oomycete microbes that are obligate parasites of plants. Downy mildews exclusively belong to Peronosporaceae. In commercial agriculture, they are a particular problem for growers of cucumber.

SYMPTOM
Fluffy purplish mildew on underside of leaves; yellow spots on the upper side of leaves.

CAUSE
Oomycete

REMARK
Disease favors cool, humid conditions.

MANAGEMENT
Do not overcrowd plants; avoid overhead irrigation, water plants from base; apply appropriate fungicide.

CONTROL
Several fungicides are available for controlling downy mildew, including both protectant and eradicant fungicides. Protectants, including chlorothalonil, copper-based compounds, and mancozeb, can be used alone to protect plants from infection early in the season.
