Our days were carefree

The stars remind me of our days in the light

Days bright, colours alight
Laughter screamed,
Youth glowed within us like comets, bright

And the beauty of our days Upturned to the dark majestic beauty of the nights

The beauty of the night sky reminded me
Moreso the beauty of the glittering glowing stars
Of the endless days of sunlight
And the endless nights of dreams.
