“They brought out two girls from the van & asked for money, those that didn't have money were raped by the police, anyone that paid was allowed to go. From the van, if you had no money you’d be raped before they let you go”.

The Acting Secretary to the FCT Social Development Secretariat, Hajiya Safiya Umar is said to be coordinating these raids.

“Mrs. Umar appears to be something of a hypocrite. She is on record for criticising Senator Elisha Abbo for assaulting a woman in July this year.

Three months before that episode however, she directly and openly coordinated one of the worst human rights violations in the history of Nigerian democracy.

Under the direction of Hajiya Safiya Umar, hundreds of women including nursing mothers were raped, assaulted, kidnapped and unlawfully detained in filthy conditions.

Below is a photo of this Hajiya Safiya Umar, the one who is currently using government agencies and law enforcement to harass women in Abuja.

According to reports, she's angry that women are walking around without covering their hair and she thinks she's the single moral compass for a diverse society. So, she's employing men to rape girls.

In this video below, she denied the fact that women who were picked up in the #AbujaRaid were raped. Despite the fact the victims have come forward to speak.
