[quote author=Positiveminds post=83777552]No formation. No tactical balance. All running like headless fowl. Showing physicality without sense. Sad![/quote
You captured it all. They are just running without sense. They lack technicality.

It's like the son of DSS chairman only came for an excursion in this tournament.

When you populate a team with Aboki neophytes, just to satisfy some quota system curriculum... this is the result you inevitably get. It's no surprise the other U17 winning sets that played with flair, skill, and panache had Igbo and South South(Niger Delta) players in the majority... the earlier Nigerians start accepting the reality, the better for all of us.
lol you wan Buhari to sack am

What do you expect from them before? When selection is made on tribal and Religious sentiment the outcome is failure! Let white coach handle team!

We just need to tell ourselves the truth. The team was clearly built on tribalism. They were never going to succeed. We saw it sometime ago at the U-20s where more than 90℅ of the players were from Edo state. It's funny and Appaling.

We ain't going anywhere people.

If those players are taken for trials in some of the Lagos-based academies, none of them might make the cut.

Thank God I didn't stay up to watch the match. I knew they were going to lose terribly. Manu garba should not just invite only the DSS commander's son Bichi, he should also ask the comptroller-general of customs, prisons, FRSc, Naptip, NAFDAC, ndlea, Civil defense to submit the names of their kids so they call all play in the team.

You think the nonsense nepotistic politics you play at home will help you win laurels in international sports.

With all the crass display of being religious, they were still beaten. Always huddling up to the middle of the pitch at half time instead of running to take instruction from their silly coach. Netherlands just proved it's not by prayer alone.
come to think of it, only Africans do that mostly, don't think av ever seen oyinbo pray after the first or even B4, Africa and religion sha

We can all rest now.
Not that I’m surprised at this team’s performance but I really expected Manu Garba to turn things around.
Well, better luck him next time.

Firstly the players were politically selected. Secondly they don’t play as a team because everyone wants to show the world that they the best(selfishness). Thirdly we are out of the tournaments. Thank you!!!
